As General Manager and CEO of Toscana Country Club, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Toscana Country Club, one of the Desertís most exclusive private clubs. The goal of our Club is to create a relaxing environment where our Members and their Guests can connect with other Members while enjoying some of the finest golf, spa, tennis, dining, and events in the Desert. Allow me to introduce you to some of the most enjoyed aspects of Toscana:

• Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf. Toscana features two unique and enjoyable courses, designed by Jack Nicklaus. The Golf Club is under the direction of Dave Craig, Director of Golf, and the courses are maintained by Toscanaís Vice President of Golf Course Maintenance, Rick Sall. The challenging South Course is a Par 72 and is complemented by lush landscapes, breathtaking mountain views, and meticulously-maintained fairways and greens. In 2012, the Club added a sixth set of tee boxes/yardages, to the South Course, which we refer to as our ìTee it Forwardî tees. These shorter tee yardages along with several ìcomboî tees that have been designed provide great variety, enjoyment, and faster pace of play for all skill levels. Recently the Toscana South Course was honored by being named to the Top 100 Residential Courses by Golfweek for 2014. The North course is a desert style course, which at this time has the front nine holes completed. The back nine is under construction currently and has an anticipated opening of November 2015. A ìTee it Forwardî set of tees were added to the front nine of the North Course in 2013. A double-ended driving range, short-game practice areas with chipping greens, and a large putting green are featured as part of an extensive practice facility. Our two Short Game practice facilities replicate each the South and North Course bunkers/greens. The professional instruction program is led by Bill Harmon, Director of Instruction, who is one of Golf magazineís Top 100 Instructors, Top 50 Golf Digest Instructors and featured on The Golf Channel. Toscana also offers you the very best in Golf apparel, accessories, and equipment in our Golf Shop ñ one of the ì100 Best Golf Shopsî in Golf World magazine for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
  
  
• Exclusive Social Events. All new Members receive our annual Toscana Event Calendar, which includes a wide array of wonderful social, recreational and educational events at the Club. This calendar comes out every September for the coming season. CLICK HERE for the online calendar where you can view and register for events. You have received one with your new Member materials and please refer to it for all the activities and events that make Toscana such a fun place. Our monthly-themed Festas (where we welcome friends and family to sample the wonderful lifestyle at Toscana), the Spa Wellness Speaker Series, Holiday events, and the Club Championships; are just to name a few. We also have family oriented events like Snow Day, Rock Climbing and Zip lining; something fun for the whole family.Fine Dining & Private Events. Il Forno Trattoria is the Desert's most alluring private Bistro, where Members enjoy one of the finest Club dining experiences in the desert. Il Forno Trattoria features charming indoor, outdoor, garden, and wine cellar dining. Chef Eric Wadlund recently jointed Toscana after his six years as Executive Chef and Director of Operations at Spencer's Restaurant, an award-winning restaurant, in Palm Springs. He teams with our new Food and Beverage Director, Anton Barich who brings a wealth of experience to both the front and back of the house with his classical training from Le Cordon Bleu. • Toscana also provides catering for your private events. Whether you are planning an intimate dinner for 12 or a cocktail party for 200; simply contact Chae Collette, Director of Catering & Social Events. Keep in mind we are here to serve you. If you have any special needs or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. Whenever possible we will be happy to accommodate you.
• Toscana is happy to provide a concierge available to assist you seven days a week. Our Club Concierges are available seven days a week in season, November through May, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to assist with your dining reservations and answer any general questions. In addition, you may also go to the Toscana website and make online dining reservations for Il Forno or CLICK HERE.
• Spa Bella Vita. Toscanaís lavish private retreat, Spa Bella Vita, provides pure relaxation and luxury with personal services available in the beautifully appointed individual treatment suites, luxurious couple's suites and private garden terraces. The selection of services includes massages, body wraps, scrubs, soaks and salon treatments along with therapeutic treatments to condition, restore and rejuvenate. Jennifer Di Francesco, Director of the Spa and Sports Club, is available to answer any questions you may have or to help create a private event for you and your friends.
• Sports and Tennis Club and Outdoor Adventure. At the Sports Club, Members find endless options for improving one's health and well-being with state of the art strength and cardiovascular equipment, separate dedicated rooms for Pilates and stretching, and a movement studio where expert trainers lead personalized fitness programs including yoga, spinning, and innovative workouts such as TRX. Many of our trainers are certified in Titleist Performance Institute accreditation for golf performance and offer private and group instruction for golfers. To provide a wide array of fitness and wellness activities, the Club also offers a Hiking Club, Cycling Club and a grass Volleyball Court for an activity involving team challenge. All have become very popular!! The Tennis program is directed by Nigel OíRourke; Nigel is a USTA High Performance teaching professional and USPTA certified Elite Professional who offers private and group tennis lessons and clinics. He also directs and oversees all our Tennis events, tournaments, and socials. The grounds include the Charlie Pasarell Tennis Center with a magnificent stadium court, three tournament courts (including one clay ìHar-Truî court). An inviting outdoor resort pool and two additional tennis courts are planned.
• Accounting. Please contact Beth Hunter, Club Controller; or Michelle Martinez, Accounts Receivable Clerk for any questions you have regarding your monthly statements. Your statements will be emailed to you the first week of each month and are also available to view or make a payment on the Toscana website.
• Membership Services. If you need assistance getting acclimated to life at Toscana or would like introductions to other Members, please contact Crista Collins, Membership Director. Additionally, there are many opportunities for you to showcase the Club to your friends who may be interested in a home and/or membership including Guest Weekends, Taste of Toscana, Golf Marketing Groups and Cocktail Marketing Groups. Contact Crista if you have - friends, family or business associates who you feel are ideal for Toscana Membership.
• Website and Communications. We provide many services online including billing, Member directory, event registration, scheduling spa appointments, dining reservations and more. You can access this information via our mobile website as well. CLICK HERE to view a video on how to access our mobile website. We also send important notifications and newsletters via email. Dawn Lewis, Membership Liaison, is responsible for internet-based communications, so if youíre having any issues receiving our emails or using the website, please contact Dawn.
• Toscana Golf Locker Rooms The Toscana Golf Locker Room Staff is available to assist you with any needed shoe service, food delivery, shuttles to the airport, or dry-cleaning. Just ask any member of the Locker Room staff to assist you.
• General Administration. The Toscana Office Manager and my Executive Assistant, Leslie Benjamin, is more than happy to assist with any questions or concerns regarding the Club, or if you would simply like to schedule a time for you and I to meet. A complimentary Notary service is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm by appointment only. To make an appointment or if you have any questions, please contact Leslie.
